Section 1—Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale
This website is published by Café Modelé, a sole proprietorship registered under number BE1012451950, located at Rue des Capucins 37-39, 1000 Brussels, represented by Aryann Le Corre.

- Purpose
Café Modelé is a creative café offering ceramic decoration workshops, artistic events, and light refreshments. Information about our activities and services is available on our website and social media or directly on site.
- Acceptance of the general terms and conditions of use and sale
By confirming a reservation, the customer accepts these terms and conditions in their entirety. Café Modelé reserves the right to modify them at any time.
- Registration for sessions and events
Les inscriptions se font en ligne ou sur place, sous réserve de places disponibles. La réservation devient effective à réception d’un e-mail ou SMS de confirmation. Café Modelé peut annuler une réservation si les informations fournies sont inexactes.
- Acomptepour les groupes de plus de 8 personnes, le Café Modelé se réserve le droit de demander un acompte de 10 € par personne pour confirmer la réservation. Pour les forfaits évènementielle, le Café Modelé un acompte de 20% ou de 10 € par personne sera demandé
- Cancellation policy: as reservation requests do not require a credit card deposit, we kindly ask all our customers to cancel at least 72 hours in advance.
- For all activities booked for groups of more than 8 people, reservations can be modified/cancelled within the following time frames:
- Less than 5 days before the event: the deposit will be retained.
- Less than 72 hours before: 50% of the total amount will be due.
- Less than 24 hours: the full amount will be due. These deadlines allow us to reallocate your tables. Any cancellation requests after these deadlines will not be compensated.
- Prices
Prices are displayed in euros, include tax, and are non-negotiable. Payment is due at the end of the session, by credit card or cash. For groups that have paid a deposit, the difference will be deducted. The prices of our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for such changes.
- Products and services
The product illustrations on our website are not contractually binding. Stock availability depends on the availability of stock on site on the day. It is not possible to reserve products in advance.
- Defects on your pieces
Some pieces may have imperfections after firing, which is proof of the artisanal nature of our work. Earthenware ceramics can absorb water or moisture due to their porous nature. This moisture spreads throughout the ceramic mass, causing it to expand. As a result, cracks may appear in the glaze. This is a normal phenomenon for earthenware and should not be considered a defect.
- Handling of items in the Café
Painted ceramics, whether awaiting firing or already fired, on display or stored on shelves or in cupboards, must not be handled or used by other participants. Any item broken or damaged by a participant will be charged to that participant.
- Gift and Loyalty Cards
- Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
- Loyalty cards are personal: 1 ceramic item purchased = 1 stamp. Stamps are applied when paying for the corresponding items.
- Right of withdrawal
In accordance with the Belgian Consumer Code, reservations for workshops and events are not subject to a right of withdrawal. In the event of cancellation or substantial modification, Café Modelé will inform participants.
- Responsibility
Participants must follow instructions and ensure their own safety. Café Modelé accepts no responsibility for personal injury or damage to property occurring during sessions. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be refused entry and your table may be reallocated.
- Confidentiality and personal data
The information collected during the reservation process is used solely for internal management purposes and is not disclosed to third parties without consent. In accordance with Belgian law, each customer has the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data by contacting Café Modelé.
- Applicable law
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the customer agrees to attempt to resolve the situation amicably.
SECTION 2– TERMS OF USE FOR THE ONLINE STORE
By using our site, you represent that you are of legal age in your country or province of residence, and you authorize us to allow minors under your responsibility to use this site.
You may not use our products for illegal purposes or in violation of any local laws. You must not transmit viruses or any malicious code to our site. Violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of your services.
- TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse to provide our services to anyone for any reason at any time.
Your information may be transmitted without encryption, with the exception of payment information, which is always encrypted during transfers. You agree not to reproduce, copy, or exploit any part of our site or services without our prior written permission.
- ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
The information provided on our site is for informational purposes only. We reserve the right to change the content of the site at any time. You agree that it is your responsibility to check this information regularly.
- PRODUCTS
Certain products may be available exclusively online and in limited quantities. We strive to display colors and images as accurately as possible, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of screen displays.
- ACCURACY OF BILLING INFORMATION
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information for all transactions made on our site. We reserve the right to cancel or limit any order deemed suspicious.
- THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our site may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content or services provided by these third parties and disclaim any liability for any harm or damage related to their use.
- COMMENTS AND SUBMISSIONS
By submitting comments to us, you grant us the right to use, publish, modify, and distribute them without restriction or compensation. We may remove any content that we deem inappropriate at our sole discretion.
- ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions on our site, including in product descriptions, prices, or availability, without prior notice.

You may not use our site for illegal purposes, harass or discriminate against others, submit misleading information, or transmit viruses. Any fraudulent use of our site will result in the suspension of your access rights.

Café Modelé does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You use our site at your own risk. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of our service or products purchased through our site.
- INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify Café Modelé for any claims related to your use of our site or violation of these terms.
- SEVERABILITY
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
- TERMINATION
These terms remain in effect until terminated by you or us. We may terminate this agreement if we believe you have violated any provision of these terms and conditions.
- CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. You agree to the changes by continuing to use our site after they are posted.
2. Café Modelé Rules and Regulations
All Café Modelé customers agree to abide by these rules, which are displayed in the establishment.
- Organization of the activity
Our paints are non-toxic and safe for food use after firing. Participants must respect the premises, equipment, and other participants, and clean their workspace at the end of the session.
- Collection of ceramics
Ceramics must be collected within one month of firing. An express firing service within 72 hours is available for €5 per item. Café Modelé will store ceramics for 30 days after firing, after which they may be donated to charities or resold.
- Session times and duration
Sessions last 2.5 hours. Participants who wish to paint have priority over those who only wish to consume snacks.
- Security
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Café Modelé accepts no responsibility for theft or loss.
- Specific conditions
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Alcohol consumption is prohibited for minors.
- Disabilities
Café Modelé does not have an access ramp, but the restrooms are wheelchair accessible. The team is available to assist with any specific needs.
Any violation of these rules may result in a request to leave the premises without refund.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Café Modélé, superseding any prior agreements.
